Vote, Volunteer + Move $$ to grassroots-led organizing through the election and beyond

As we face the possibility of a coup in the so-called “United” States, it’s pivotal that those of us with wealth & class privilege show up with our votes, time and money in support of the leadership of those most impacted by the current administration.

Have $$ to move in the next week, month, or between now and inauguration?

  • Concerned about wealthy people picking individual campaigns to bankroll? Relinquish power by giving to Movement Voter Project - your $$ will be strategically distributed across a network of grassroots-led organizations best positioned to mobilize voters and respond to the results

  • Wish that the US federal government wasn’t even in charge on this continent? The time is always now to return indigenous lands to indigenous hands. Check out NDN Collective and their Landback campaign

What I’m reading at the moment

I’m so excited about Invest in the Solidarity Economy Now!, a zine by Kate Poole of Chordata Capital (an anticapitalist wealth management firm!) It makes the case for leaving the stock market entirely in support of building a solidarity economy. This is a timely message, for economic power is political power.

Do you have $$ invested in the stock market? Are you already convinced on wanting to move it, but something’s been holding you back? Here’s a template Divest/Invest Plan I made to help you get started, and I’m here for support if you need it!

Who I am called to support

Do you know any young people with wealth who are called to heal their ancestral legacy? Who are interested in courageously moving money, but have questions / worries / fears / blocks that have held them back, up until now?

I encourage you to forward this email to them! And if it’s you, I’d love to talk. I’m grateful to be able to offer coaching support to folks who have resources to move in solidarity with those most impacted by rising fascism, white supremacy, COVID-19, and the other intersecting crises of our time.
